Sawas began as a small family business in 1950, with limited machinery, employees, and
production. Now almost half a century later, Sawas has grown into one of the strongest Tie
and belt manufacturers in the Middle East region.
As always expansion requires a change of management and our company now consists of 6 main
departments. Our tailoring, sewing, and pressing departments are the most important. With
imaginative designers, and expert sewing we always produce the desired quality. In case of
flaws however, our supervising team is quick to make sure that the quality of our products
is maintained. Our Packaging, and Cargo and Distribution departments are the last on the
line.
With over 120 workers and employees, and the use of local and foreign raw materials, our
daily production has risen to 2500 pieces. Our Cargo and distribution department is in
charge of selling these to bulk merchants locally and abroad. We have been able to
penetrate the neighboring Arab markets, and are building a strong reputation there,
however we are still in the process of studying the European Markets and hope to start
exporting there in the near future.
